What this template does
LinkedIn Lead Gen ads produce good leads, but they sit inside LinkedIn until someone exports a CSV. This workflow polls for new submissions on a schedule, enriches each lead with firmographic data from Clearbit, creates the Lead (and Account, if needed) in Salesforce, and alerts your SDR team in Slack when a high-fit lead comes in.
The result is that a lead captured from a sponsored post is qualified and in front of a rep within minutes, with company size, industry, and funding already attached.
How it works
The trigger is a scheduled check for new LinkedIn leads (every 5 minutes works well). Each run:
- Fetches new leads from the LinkedIn Lead Gen form.
- Extracts lead information and company name.
- Enriches the company via Clearbit (size, industry, funding).
- Calculates a lead quality score based on company fit.
- Creates the Lead in Salesforce.
- Creates or updates the Account if the company is new.
- Sends a Slack alert to the SDR team for high-fit leads.
Output: leads synced to Salesforce with enriched company data, ready for outreach.
Setup steps
- Create a LinkedIn Business Developer credential, grant it access to Lead Gen Forms, and select the form in n8n.
- Create a Salesforce connected app, generate OAuth credentials, and add them to n8n.
- Add a Clearbit node for company lookup. Map the LinkedIn fields to the Clearbit format and pull company size, industry, and funding.
- Create the Lead in Salesforce, map enriched company data to the Account, and set lead status based on company fit.
- Add a Slack alert for high-fit leads, send a confirmation to the lead, and log the activity in Salesforce.
- Set the webhook or schedule to run every 5 minutes, test with a sample lead, then enable.
When to use it
Use this for LinkedIn sponsored content lead capture, webinar registrations from LinkedIn ads, account-based marketing lead sync, and general sales development outreach. It is most valuable when lead volume is high enough that manual CSV exports are a bottleneck.
