Standardized delivery for a multi-client agency
One n8n pipeline replaced per-client spreadsheets and manual reporting, with a QA gate before anything reaches a client.
The problem
Delivery ran on a patchwork of per-client spreadsheets and manual reports, so quality depended on which account manager was doing it and how busy that week had been.
Reporting consumed senior time every month on work that was identical across clients except for the numbers.
What we built
- 01
One intake, one kickoff
Standardized intake and kickoff so every client enters delivery the same way, which is what makes everything downstream automatable.
- 02
Scheduled reporting from the source
GSC and GA4 reports generate on a schedule directly from the APIs, rather than being assembled by hand into a deck each month.
- 03
A QA gate before the client sees it
A Slack approval step sits between generation and delivery, so automation speeds the work up without removing the human judgment about what is fit to send.
What changed
- Five hours saved per client every month, which compounds with each client added rather than staying flat.
- Delivery quality no longer varies by who is running the account that month.
